Our Client is a key player in the fragrance manufacturing industry.


The Commercial Officer is responsible for driving B2B sales with minimal supervision, develops and presents sales proposals to clients; leads client relationship management and gathers and utilises market & customer information. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in delivering sales across various countries within the MEA region

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish new business within various countries in the West African region.
  • Maintain accurate sales records.
  • Build strong client relationships through continuous engagements, support with product customization, etc.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Management of whole process from preparation and definition of projects, presentation to clients, follow-up and close of Sales.
  • Implement strategies to build the company’s competitor advantage in the market.
  • Conduct surveys and report on consumer behavior, market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Negotiate and close sales.
  • Review sales performance monthly.



  • Bachelors’ degree or an HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar subjects.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing at a senior level, particularly with B2B sales.
  • Experience in the FMCG or Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing industries is desired.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory.
  • Must be able to drive and hold a clean driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Knowledge in preparing of sales reports is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage budgets efficiently.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and delivery of presentations
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems will be an advantage.
  • Good time management skills.
