Billing Assistant
Our client, one of the top 25 law firms globally is looking for a *Billing Assistant* to join their accounting team. This international law firm is headquartered in New York City and consistently ranks one of the top law firms to work at.
Salary / Hourly Rate : $50k $55k Position Overview : The Billing Assistant should have 6 months to a year of accounting experience.
They should be eager to get into accounting and passionate about the law industry. They will be reporting to the Billing Coordinator and will work collaboratively with the accounting department.
Responsibilities of the Billing Assistant :
- Assist Billing Coordinators with performing edits, creating and editing bill drafts* Process invoices* Assist Billing Coordinators with filing of bills* Maintain and update instructions related to attorneys’ clients and matters* Assist with electronic billing* Observe confidentiality of clients and firm matters* Provide administrative support to team as needed* Assist with special projects as needed* Ad hoc projects when necessary Qualifications of the Billing Assistant :
- Strong communication skills* Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing* Basic math skills* Microsoft Excel experience* Attention to detail* 6 months to a year of accounting experience Education Requirements :
