Overview
As a Credit Officer on our Credit Risk Management (CRM) team, you will be joining Deutsche Banks’s (DB’s) world-leading Commercial Real Estate lending platform and actively participating in credit approvals and portfolio management. In particular, you will be responsible to handle approvals for real estate related transactions, whether designated for securitization via commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS), syndication in the Bank market or retained on balance sheet. Together, we strive to ascertain Deutsche Bank’s adherence to its credit policies and procedures, and you will be an integral part of the success of the Bank’s risk management operations.
The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. What You’ll Do
Assume responsibility for monitoring a portfolio of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) exposures and watch list credits including data collection, credit rating analysis and annual reviews
Review and write recommendations to obtain approval for annual reviews, loan amendments, collateral updates, and new loans
Perform property level due diligence including cash flow analysis, site inspections, and reviews of legal documents and third-party reports
Assist Vice Presidents, Directors and Managing Directors in the credit review, approval, and processing of commercial real estate loans. Specific tasks include participating in meetings and conference calls with originations, reviewing credit reports and term sheets, and presenting large loans to credit committees
Process credit requests and exposures within Deutsche Bank’s internal systems
Liaise with off-site credit functions to enhance and improve the MIS utilized to manage Deutsche Bank’s global Commercial Real Estate portfolio
Skills You’ll Need
Relevant Commercial Real Estate finance experience
Bachelor’s Degree (Master of Real Estate Finance degree preferred)
Microsoft office proficient (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Valid driver’s license

It is theBank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $110,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
