• Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm, potential for OT
• Location : Whippany, NJ 07981

Machine Operator Job Duties and Requirements include :

Sets up the capsule machines with the proper tooling required as per specifications, and manufacturing directions, following the specific S.

O. P for the department, guided by the cGMP's.

Reassembly of parts mentioned and filling of blended materials into the product hopper manually with a sanitary product scoop.

Also, fill empty capsule hopper with capsules from supplier box into the capsule hopper.

• Adjust and set up machines to obtain the proper fill weight as specified in the MBR
• Operate and clean metal detectors and capsule polishers as necessary. Fill sanitary containers with finished capsules
• Weigh In process capsules for adherence to product specifications and records results on the batch record.
• Visually inspects finished capsules for minor or major defects, including color shifts and particle size separation.
• Requires coordination with Quality Control on batch record signoffs must have cGMP knowledge.
• All table top surface areas and base cabinet walls must be cleaned, and sanitized.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is extremely critical.
• GPM / SOP experience in Pharma environment.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness and quality system awareness.
• Pharma, supplements or nutraceuticals background required
