The Democratic National Committee’s Tech team is hiring a product manager to build tooling that helps Democrats win campaigns up and down the ballot. - We are a fully remote, distributed team living in 19 states and from a variety of backgrounds – some of us have worked in political campaigns, others in public sector tech, and others in industry. The Product - This position will lead the Voting Services team which includes LBJ, our voter protection software and IWV, a voting location lookup tool as well as some supporting services and data products. These products are integral in supporting the right to vote and will play a key role in the 2024 election cycle.

You will … (Responsibilities) - Work with cross functional teams to design, prioritize, implement, and deploy new data and tools to our customers.
- Bring sustainable urgency to stakeholder management.
- Maintain and socialize the product roadmap.
- Prioritize stakeholder requests along with broader user needs.
- Balance roadmap priorities with ad hoc, urgent requests from key user groups.
- Create feedback loops in our products and pick the right metrics to measure whether we’re actually solving real problems for our users.
- Think through how in-cycle decisions will impact longer term product strategy, making informed trade offs between urgent cycle needs and long term sustainability.
- Work to understand the impact of urgent feature requests, and whether or not the features requested will truly solve the problem at hand.
- Be scrappy and willing to jump in and support the team where it's needed most.
- Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.
You Should…(Qualifications) - Have experience making strategic roadmap decisions based on inputs from a broad set of stakeholders
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Be curious, collaborative, and humble – ready to work with a diverse, distributed team to solve interesting problems together.
- Be passionate about ensuring everyone has access to information to vote. Experience with voter protection work is not required but is definitely a plus"
- Experience working with a fully remote team is also a plus.

The starting salary for the Product Manager position is $115,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for overtime wages and is fully remote. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
