Specifically, this role conducts financial, operational and IT audits across the BAE Systems Inc. enterprise by examining and verifying information, records and procedures of internal and external organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of control systems.

The auditor, under the direction of an audit lead, interviews employees at all levels of the organization, documents prepares reports of findings and recommendations to senior management, including opportunities to present to the Inc.

Senior Leadership Team. A key objective of each audit is to identify best practices and recommend improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.

The p osition will lead small audits and portions of larger audits.

This role is posted with a Falls Church location; however, given the travel component for this role, the team is open to candidates currently located near major airports.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Due to respective site access requirements, US Citizenship is required for success in position
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, Business or other related area.
  • Minimum of four (4) years work experience.
  • Communication (written, oral and presentation) skills are foundational to the role.
  • Ability to assimilate new and unfamiliar information.
  • Ability to organize documentation, reports and interviewing in a deadline driven environment.
  • The position requires flexible hours and travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with Altyrex, Power BI or Tableau
  • CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP
  • Relevant certification or graduate degree.
