Social Content Creator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role of Social Content Creator. Under direction of the Strategic Brand Director, the position will strategize, conceptualize, develop concepts, and campaigns for social media that align with the overall goal of marketing business objectives. This role will be a part of the FSI Brand Marketing team which oversees brand marketing requirement for all footwear brands (In house and Licensed). This is a full-time permanent role, and the ideal candidate is located in Portland, Washington, Las Vegas or greater Chicago area with a hybrid working schedule. Position can be hybrid or a full remote role, with the expectation and flexibility to come into the office when needed. Any applicant located outside of these areas will be considered for a fully remote role; however, preference will be given to the listed locations.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation

  • Brainstorm and create engaging social media content that adheres to the strategic vision for each brand starting from ideation and execution of high-quality social content.
  • Have the ability to create content independently for social channels including videos, photography, static designs etc. without external help.
  • Subject matter expert on platforms - Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok.
Influencer/Brand Ambassador Management
  • You’re an expert finding the right influencers that align with the vision of the brand.
  • Build and establish relationships with a rolodex of relevant influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Conceptualize and create content with brand ambassadors/influencers to get maximum engagement and exposure for the brand.
  • Respond to all inbound and outbound influencer inquiries to build a community.
  • Be active on social media, engage with followers and ensure that our brands get quick and positive responses, with a focus on laughter and fun.
  • You will be the first point of contact for all things social for our brand online.

Day to Day Management
  • Responsible for all the social media accounts across all platforms.
  • Maintain and develop the annual calendar with high-impact campaign content.
  • Researching audience preferences and discover current trends.
  • Facilitateonline conversations with customers and respond to queries.
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
  • Assist in setting up social media ads and reporting results.
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
  • Be a subject matter expert for internal teams on best practices for creating content.
  • Measure website traffic to content, Utilize Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc. to provide valuable information.
  • Analyze content or campaigns, report findings and provide recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness social networks.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven work experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Experience in influencer marketing is a must.
  • Strong design skills and fluent in Adobe CS and Canva.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation skills will be an asset.
  • The ability to understand and cater your work to the tastes of different social audiences.
  • Must have design skills across multiple software suites and the ability to turn out static posts, motion media and illustrated graphics.
  • Experience with Content management software to upload content -i.e. Hootsuite.
  • Understanding of design, composition, and typography.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creative thinker, visual storyteller.
  • Creative agency experience is an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Able to travel domestically and international.
