The Software Engineering Manager - COTS role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities :
Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups requiring applied understanding of strategic issues of importance to the function / initiative
Plan and direct the work of the team as they design and develop software solutions to meet needs
Ensure teams use a process-driven approach in designing solutions
Oversee the implementation of new software technology
Oversee the effective and efficient maintenance of existing software
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Required Experiences :
6 Years’ Experience
Ability to scale and coach multiple teams in parallel on their Cloud migration and adoption journeys
Ability to manage and develop teams, providing coaching, mentoring and performance management
Ability to assist with initiatives supporting Digital Transformation
Experience managing Platform Engineering / Operations teams
Strong ability to mentor / coach team members as well as experience in influencing senior leadership
Experience as a Technical Coach to provide technical guidance in designing and architecting critical software platforms
Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Excellent collaboration & communication skills
Desired Experiences :
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
Skilled in one or more Enterprise Architecture Platforms (e.g. ARIS, HOPEX, Avolution, BiZZdesign, ORBUS)
Skilled in maintaining the integrity of Architecture Repository Metamodel
