Position Summary: Develop, write, and edit e-mails, letters, briefings, and other correspondence and communications for the President. Develop plans and ensure the smooth handling of events, meetings, and/or special projects; determine timelines, deliverables, staffing, and space needs as appropriate. Attend events to ensure high quality implementation and that the Office of the President is represented appropriately. Manage the follow-up to public events and meetings as well as requests submitted to the Office of the President. Provide management support to the Office of the President, including project management support. Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience conceptualizing, planning, and implementing responses to inquiries and events.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and strategic issues and manage relationships effectively. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, and oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population and atall levels of the organization. Superior judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidences. Ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems while interacting with individuals at all levels. Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. Attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high profile environment. Position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $130,000.00 to USD $150,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
