Job Title : Product Specialist IIReports To : Production Manager Role Description What Success Looks LikeThe Product Specialist II is organized, diligent, resourceful and a big picture thinker;
she or he will feel at home in specialized lean manufacturing system.
As part of the build team the Product Specialist II will will be responsible for their own work orders, while working collaboratively with other team members in maintaining on time shipments globally and work order completion accuracy in assembling and packing orders.
This is a mid-level position; the ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years in manufacturing, assembly, or production role.
Responsibilities & Key ActivitiesAssembly (build fixtures, follow written instructions to put together)Quality control on parts and assembliesPackaging, protective wrap, and boxingPreparing outgoing palletsImprove production time, quality and consistencyPre-Assembly (Sub-assemblies, ie.
cord-sets, custom parts)Participate in Production meetings (assess day’s goals, roadblocks, successes)Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of workplace and machineryAssisting with implementation of best practices documentationAssisting in the documentation of production processes through Dozuki.com Qualifications & Experience RequiredMinimum of 4 years in manufacturing or assembly.Lighting manufacturing a plus.Computer and software literacy required. Intermediate to Advanced level skills with Netsuite, Google Suite, and Visual Work instructions guides highly desired.Manual dexterity, exceptional fine motor skills.Ability to stand for long periods of time and remain focused with exceptional attention to detail. CompensationThis is a full time, non-
exempt, hourly position.Daily work hours are from 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
