Our client is an MNC specializing in providing high-quality home furnishing and lifestyle products. Currently, they are hiring a Merchandise Procurement and Inventory Controller to assist in creating inventory forecasts, generating purchase orders, and optimizing transportation costs while addressing inventory inquiries. This role involves collaborating with various teams, suppliers, and logistics to ensure efficient operations.
Creates inventory forecasts and sends to suppliers to assist in mutual planning.
Creates Purchase Orders for approval, sends to Suppliers, maintains tracking reports.
Updates and confirms order and shipping status.
Communicates any delays to the merchandising and operations department.
Supports and assists operation department in inventory inquiries.
Assists merchandising and logistics team on best order transportation costs.
Coordinates with suppliers, logistics and warehouse to maintain the best trafficking of product to support the business.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, however proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in business level English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shift hours 8.30am - 5.30pm OR 11.00am - 8.00pm (Monday to Friday including Saturday & Sunday), 2 day off days follow as per scheduler roaster.
