This is an internal position, as the Finance Manager to Addison Consultancy and its clients

Internal tasks for Addison Consultancy include:

  • Managing invoice and billing accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Bookkeeping, reconciling accounts and transactions on accounting software (currently Xero)
  • Payroll for Filipino Virtual Assistants and UK/US Directors
  • Payment of Philippine benefits and bonuses
  • Maintaining and managing detailed spreadsheets for P&L, Balance Sheets, cashflow forecasts and more
  • Handling VAT allocationand tax, before handling accounts to be confirmed by the company's accountants
  • Expenses reclaim and receipt handling
  • Daily finance management and depending on skills also potential accountancy

Client servicing tasks for Addison Consultancy's clients, as part of our service offering

  • Must be confident in day-to-day US finance accounting
  • Mostly handling accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping
  • Creating and managing reports for clients
  • Eventually building a finance team beneath them to manage more clients


Essential Requirements

  • Relevant finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Must have worked as an Accountant for 2+ years
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Western clients (US/UK/CA)
  • Very fluent in written and spoken English, ability to communicate with clients
  • Clear knowledge of US finance (e.g. Tax, VAT, basic processes)
  • High level of precision and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient with accounting software (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, or similar)
  • Proactive, dedicated, and trustworthy

Bonus Non-Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of UK accounting
  • Background as a financial manager for US clients
  • Small business background, particularly in accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php450.00 - Php725.00 per hour
