As a sr product designer you’ll have the opportunity to create experiences that set in motion the entirety of content on our skills platform. The products you design help create our ability to see around the corner of our customer’s needs, understand tech trends and provide actionable intelligence for curriculum managers to create content strategies. This key strategic team is core to our competitive advantage and drives our efforts across several departments. Your design efforts will help expand the breadth and depth of our curriculum workflow and scale our efforts to deliver strategic learning to our customers. This is a full-time position in our Utah offices.

What you’ll own:
Generating detailed mockups and product flows
Preparing for and co-leading user research along with a Product Manager
Collaborate with cross-functional team to determine appropriate solutions based on user experience research and synthesized data
Creating concepts, wireframes, and delivering high quality designs / prototypes through testing, experimentation and development
Iterating your designs through usability testing
Expertly defining the information architecture, the interactions, and the visual design
Experience you’ll need:
Ability to work on complex interactive systems or products.
Passion for working on internal focused products
5+ years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, and visual design
Mastery of user research and human-centered design best practices
An ability to lead with an analytical approach to testing new features and iterating and evolving the product based on data
Exceptional communication skills that can create buy-in for user-centered product strategy, as well as an ability to speak on a technical level and communicate clearly with engineers and other stakeholders within your team and beyond
A committed lifelong learner dedicated to improving how consumers consume and interact with content
An ability to lead and mentor other designers in the development of their craft
Advocacy for the use of tools, frameworks and processes, like Directed Discovery and the Pluralsight Design System, that benefit our product teams and end users across the company
Strong interest in design involving analytics, data science and machine learning
