Head: Engineering

As HOE you will oversee 30 to 40 people (including contractors) through 3 to 5 senior technology leads. This mission critical role will involve directing the development of solutions for integrating applications across the enterprise; overseeing the development of integration standards and the development of enterprise-wide integration initiatives; directing and overseeing the implementation of standards and procedures for the software development and quality assurance function; leading, overseeing, governing andguiding the delivery and operations of systems integration, software development and quality assurance services (“the engineering portfolio”).

Candidates from the finance/banking/insurance sector preferred.

• Honours degree in Computer Science or IT (Masters will be an added advantage)
• 10 to 12 years in solutions delivery and operations for application development, and integration solutions, of which at least 5 should have been at a senior management level
• 3 to 5 years experience managing and guiding technology teams responsible for building API gateway solutions
