Join our clients' dynamic team in the fast-paced world of the FMCG industry. We're on the lookout for an experienced and talented Purchasing and Procurement Manager to play a key role in their food retail chain.

As a successful candidate, you'll bring to the table a wealth of expertise, having demonstrated your prowess as a Procurement Manager.

Your ability to navigate sourcing and procurement techniques, coupled with a keen sense for "reading" the market, will be essential in driving their success.

The ideal candidate will also be familiar with supplier or third-party management software.

Minimum Requirements :

BCom degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement

Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in reading the market

Talent in negotiations and networking

Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software

Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

Strong leadership capabilities

Duties and Responsibilities :

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, actively engaging in negotiations for contracts, prices, and timelines to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

Enhance and optimize purchasing systems and processes, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement to streamline operations.

Monitor, track, and report key functional metrics, employing data-driven insights to reduce expenses and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Identify and forge partnerships with profitable suppliers, contributing to the development of strategic business alliances and organizational growth.

Conduct a thorough analysis of daily product and supply levels, proactively anticipating and addressing potential inventory problems and shortages.

Finalize comprehensive purchase details for orders and oversee the smooth execution of deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Oversee the inventory tracking system, meticulously recording deliveries and maintaining optimal stock levels for efficient operations.

Scrutinize and test existing contracts, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement or renegotiation.

Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations, fostering clear communication and understanding within the organization.

Anticipate shifts in the negotiating landscape between suppliers and clients, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain favorable terms.

Utilize data analysis to forecast and prepare for unfavorable events, implementing control strategies to mitigate potential risks.

Perform thorough risk management for supply contracts and agreements, ensuring the organization is well-prepared and resilient in the face of challenges.
