A vacancy has become available for a Regional Assessor within the Northern Cape, Upington and surrounding areas As the OUTsurance Regional Claims Assessor you will be responsible for assessing, validating and finalising personal lines and business claims.
Responsibilities : Validate all incidents and claims Finalise all reports and administration (reports, scanning, photographs etc.
Liaise with service providers Meeting with clients, witnesses, liaise with many external parties including different law enforcement agencies, SAPS etc.
Handling and resolving all queries and problems from service provider and clients. Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place.
Travel extensively and long distance including being away from home lots of times if need be. Skills and Competencies : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Well conversant in English and Afrikaans.
Knowledge of an African language will be an added advantage. Attention to detail Takes ownership and responsibility. Adaptability Qualifications Minimum Requirements... Minimum Matric / Grade 12 Investigations qualifications a huge advantage.
Valid Driver’s license is essential FAIS Accreditation or a FAIS recognized qualification will be highly beneficial. Post Matric qualification will be beneficial.
Location : Applicants must currently reside in or around the Upington (Northern Cape) area. Experience : Investigation / Assessing experience, especially in a short-term insurance industry is essential.
Previous insurance claims experience will be beneficial. Commercial Insurance training will be an added advantage. SAPS investigations experience is beneficial Additional Information Dealing with people in a stressful, deadline orientated environment is essential.
