We seek a seasoned Restaurant Manager to be based at our restaurant situated in Polokwane. Objectives:
· You will be responsible for the planning and executing of the end to end operation of the restaurant
· Ensure maintenance of high quality food
· Ensure consistent customer satisfaction
· Ensure high standard of health, safety and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations as well as company policy
· Drive company culture and values
· Motivate team and ensure employee productivity in accordance with employee job description and KPI’s
Outputs:
Operations:
· Be responsible for the overall business performance of the restaurant
· Coordinate all functions to ensure efficient operation
· Maintain strict control over food quality
· Manage stock/inventory
· Ensure that the PoS (point of sale) is updated accurately and timeously daily
· Provide the required reports as per management instruction · coordinate the complete operation of the restaurant
· Analyseand plan restaurant sales levels and profitability with Management
· Set purchase budgets as agreed upon with Management
· Organise and coordinate marketing activities such as promotional events
· Work closely with the chefs to determine weekly cooking plan that then translates into stock purchase plan
· Manage the weekly shopping of the restaurant
Staff:
· Plan rosters for staff
· Onboard new staff together with HR manager
· Recruit, train and motivate staff with guidance of HR Manager
· Manage payroll, leave and discipline of staff with guidance of HR Manager
· Drive employee wellness and manage employee performance
· Lead team in a professional manner that drives company culture and values
Customer Service:
· Practice and enforce “the customer is always right” attitude
· Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality and service, prompt response must be given to customer queries and complaints
Requirements:
· Minimum 8 years experience as a restaurant manager
· Must have relevant qualification in hospitality or equivalent
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
· Must be able to work under pressure
· Must be able to prioritize efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
