Duties/Pligte This position will be part of the Stellenbosch Business School's academic leadership team that facilitates a range of transformative leadership development and organisational behaviour modules and events for various programmes, as well as supervising and conducting research. As head of the School's Career Leadership Programme, the role will support our endeavour to develop the careers of responsible leaders for students and alumni. The Career Leadership Programme plays a key role in initiating, developing, and supporting students' career leadership skills based on individualised and group career planning and development offerings.

Developing and delivering academic content in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour modules; - Teaching as well as assessing assignments;
- Contributing to research through acknowledged publications and conferences;
- Supervising postgraduate research at Master's level (and PhD level if the incumbent has a PhD);
- Participating in the management and administration of some departmental activities;
- Leading the Career Leadership Programme and ensuring its effective implementation and offerings to students on an individual and collective basis;
- Supporting career-related projects at the Business School and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to create opportunities and maintain networks;
- Managing the use of psychometric assessments and their related processes.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
Minimum requirements for a Lecturer: - An appropriate Master's degree (i.e. in Psychology or Industrial Psychology) awarded by a recognised university;
- Evidence of exposure to active scholarship, together with the potential to develop;
- Relevantprofessional experience that includes a sound knowledge of recruitment, career development and the talent management industry and its processes;
- Registration as an Industrial Psychologist;
- Quantitative and qualitative evidence of teaching experience;
- Excellent communication skills and sound interpersonal skills;
- The ability to take initiative and manage projects;
- Computer proficiency.
Minimum requirements for a Senior Lecturer: - PhD degree awarded by a recognised university;
- Professional registration as an Industrial Psychologist;
- Evidence of active and continuous scholarship and research production;
- Relevant professional experience that includes a high-level knowledge of recruitment, career development, and the talent management industry and processes;
- Evidence of successfully completed postgraduate supervision and internship supervision;
- Quantitative and qualitative evidence of relevant teaching experience and performance;
- Excellent communication skills and sound interpersonal skills;
- The ability to take initiative and manage projects;
- Computer proficiency.
