Member Services Centre Representative

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Member Service Centre Representative as part of our call centre for the Credit Union. As a member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for responding to Bulkley Valley Credit Union’s member requests via telephone, electronic and digital channels, you will build and manage relationships with our members and provide them with trusted financial advice. You will analyze member needs and assist members to utilize the product or service which bestmeets those needs by outlining benefits and alternatives and advising on the best match. You will recognize member opportunities and take appropriate actions to promote credit union products and services and refer to other staff where appropriate.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in the financial services industry. You should be adaptable, organized and have the ability to prioritize and thrive in an environment of ongoing change. An individual with experience plus education and/or training equivalent to three years will also be considered.

The hours of operation for the call centre are Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Member Services Centre employees will work a compressed work week consisting of four days a week and up to 10 hours in the day.
