Raytheon Cyber Offensive and Defensive Experts (CODEX) is focused on being the national security community’s premier mission partner supporting every side of cyber to include offense, defense, and exploitation.

We have extensive exeprience developing software and hardware based cyber protection solutions for mission critical systems.

We are looking for an individual to expand our customer base and drive sales of our portfolio of cyber resiliency solutions.

Successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling products and solutions to DoD, Fed-CIV, and Critical Infrastructure communities.

Familiarity with cyber security, cyber resiliency, system survivability, and program protection is preferred. Regular travel is required and candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a U.

S. security clearance. Candidates should be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Functions :

The Sales Lead requires an individual with a proven ability to identify leads, qualify, develop and close business. The ideal candidate will have significant sales experience with selling commercial products to the DoD and other federal government agencies as well as a technical background in engineering and cyber security.

The sales lead must possess the ability to work with prospective customers on a daily basis to generate sales revenues, provide account management, accurately forecast business, and execute a strategic plan to sell to target customers spanning DoD, Fed-Civ, and commercial critical infrastructure markets.

The Sales Lead will conduct meetings, technology demonstrations and other engagements with customers, and determine how to position the company to meet customer needs.

The Sales Lead will provide support to, and coordinate with, the Business Development team on revenue opportunities. The Sales Lead must have a thorough understanding of the sales process and the internal financial, acquisition, and decision-making processes within the assigned accounts.

The Sales Lead will maintain awareness of competitive offerings, and make recommendations based on the competitive landscape.

Additionally, the Sales Lead will act as a liaison between customers and internal product management and engineering teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

The successful candidates will possess a strong professional network within assigned accounts, and have a passion for both customer and business success.


  • Primary responsibility for Product Annual Operating Plan (bookings, sales and margins)
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Generate sales leads within assigned accounts
  • Establish and expand relationships with channel partners and resellers
  • Prepare reports and forecasts
  • Coordinate and host sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Participate in internal meetings to coordinate sales efforts with across the business
  • Call on potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Provide customer feedback to inform the product development and go to market strategies
  • Conduct market research and make recommendations for product pricing

  • Minimum of 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas for cyber products or similar offerings within the federal government
  • Technical background in engineering or cybersecurity
  • Sales experience with DoD, Fed-Civ, commercial critical infrastructure markets
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
  • Experience communicating customer needs to product management, engineering teams
  • Ability to connect highly technical and creative engineers and solutions with technical decision makers / buyers / user and their needs
  • Experience developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • LOCATIONS : This position can be based in Austin, TX; Huntsville, AL; Greenville, SC or remote with travel as required

    Desired Qualifications :

  • Current SECRET Security Clearance or TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field

    This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
