Store Manager

The Store Manager oversees the entire operations of a store.S / he is responsible for driving the store's sales performance andservice performance.

S / he also engages in innovation andproductivity initiatives for the store. S / he is responsible fordeveloping business opportunities, managing the operational andservice excellence plans.

In order to driveseamless customer experience across channels, the Store Manageroversees the order fulfillment processes for customers in store.

Responsibilities :

Strategise and developexecution plans for the team to deliver brand, sales and servicegoals and targets

Collaborate with management todevelop budget and evaluate business financial performanceregularly.

Build a CRM programme for the team toestablish rapport and cultivate relationships with customers.

Monitor merchandising presentation and visual display

Develop and ensure follow-through on a service recoveryframework for crisis management

Ensure businesscontinuity management in retail operations

Supervise,train and plan succession for employees in customer service,interior styling, sales, service and visual merchandising.

Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking,implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers toensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.

Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintainingprofitability.

Work with back of house team includingMarketing to ensure the smooth running of store operations andcampaigns

Assist in researching and developing marketopportunities and plans, understand market requirements, identifymarket trends

Ensure the store remains clean andpresentable at all times.

Hire and train as needed toensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstandingcustomer service.

Requirements :

Diploma or Degree in Business Management, or anyrelated field

3 5 years of retail experience

Proven track record of attaining sales target, successin strategic planning and problem solving

Engaging,positive and motivating communication skills

Customer-focused with strong communications and interpersonalskills

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Knowledge of retail management and procedures

At least 2 years of experience in managing ateam
