Senior DevOps Engineer

Your Mission

As a DevOps Engineer, you will empower our R&D team to effectively develop, deploy, monitor, and debug their services while ensuring application and infrastructure security. You will actively drive infrastructure cost optimization and contribute to streamlining operations by automating repetitive processes.

Job summary

  Key Responsibilities

• Configure release engineering and CI/CD pipelines, including automated Docker image building and deployment for Node.js applications.
• Manage local development environments, such as upgrading MySQL on local Docker environments.
• Oversee infrastructure security management by implementing appropriate access controls and adhering to the least privilege principle.
• Automate repetitive processes, including integrating Jira with GitHub and managing access rights.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource utilization.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external sysadmins.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in AWS platform and services (including AWS Lambda functions)
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and performance optimization in distributed systems
• Experience as a Docker power-user
• Knowledge of provisioning tools, we use Terraform and Ansible
• Strong understanding of Git, GitHub pipelines, Bash, and other DevOps tools
• DevOps working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Minimum 2 years of commercial coding experience
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and abstract thinking
• Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to drive results
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
